Elroy Kenebrew, 74, a native and resident of Jasper, Texas, transitioned on May 5, 2022.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Lighthouse COGIC, 1013 Helen St. in Jasper. Visits will begin at 12:00 p.m. before the service. Interment will follow at Jasper Campground Cemetery under the direction of Coleman’s Mortuary in Jasper.
Elroy was predeceased by a son, Zembolus (Zem) Kenebrew; his mother, Annie Bell Bowie Kenebrew Roebuck; sisters, Mary Joe Johnson, Frances Twine, Gloria Lewis; brothers, Alvin Roebuck, Charles Fowler, Elvin Roebuck and Amos Kenebrew.
He lets his sweet memory be cherished: his wife, Annette Mitchell-Kenebrew; children, Marie Southwell, Donald Kenebrew, Sandra Kenebrew, Cynthia Parks, La’Kisha Kenebrew, Denise Glasco (Julian), LaKeitha Roberts (John), Kevin McQueen, Kelly Johnsons (Douglas), El McQueen; sisters, Johnnie Curtis, Brenda Roebuck, Essie Shankle; brothers, Willie Kenebrew, Larry Scott, 19 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
