All Pro Dad (APD) raises awareness of the importance of reading to inspire students and families to incorporate literacy into their daily routines. Reading brings families together and opens up opportunities for fun engagement. When families read with their children, they prepare them for a better future.
Currently, APD supports nearly 200 local chapters across the state of Florida. These chapters come together in schools and engage dads and kids in meaningful character-based conversations while encouraging a monthly reading challenge for dads at home. Additionally, APD uses its three APD experiences in Florida to spread the positive impact of reading among families. These one-day events are expected to take place over the next few months at Tampa, Orlando and Jacksonville.
