The US Coast Guard is assisting a crippled yacht off the coast of Washington state with seven people on board.

In a tweet on Saturday afternoon, the US Coast Guard said the 143ft yacht was disabled 45 miles northwest of Grays Harbor, Washington.

The yacht’s rear door is unable to close and water is entering the stern, according to the US Coast Guard. No one on the yacht is injured.

#USCG crews responding to a 143ft disabled yacht 45 miles northwest of Grays Harbor, Washington, with 7 people on board. No medical concerns. The vessel cannot close the transom door and water has entered the stern. Floods are under control. Rescue teams remain on site,” the tweet read.

A 210ft US Coast Guard vessel is heading to the area to tow the yacht.
