Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2022: The Indian Coast Guard invites eligible applicants from India to fill vacancies for the position of Storekeeper, Civilian Auto Transport Driver, Electrical Installer/Electrician, Machinist, Carpenter, Auto Transport Installer/Mechanic, Multi-Task Personnel (Transport Cleaner automobile), multi Multitasking personnel (Peon), multitasking personnel (sweeper), multitasking personnel (packer), ship fitter, internal combustion engine, sheet metal worker, electrical fitter and welder. There are 26 vacancies for the given messages.

Eligible candidates for the positions can apply in the prescribed format indicated in the official notification and submit their form with a duly affixed self-attested color photograph. They must be accompanied by Xerox copies of the documents to – Coast Guard Commander’s Area (East) near Napier Bridge Fort St George (PO) Chennai – 600,009.

1- Message name- Store Keeper Grade-II.

Age- 18 to 25 years old.

Qualification- 12th pass from a recognized board/university.

Live- One year of experience in managing stores of any recognized company or central or state government organization or public sector companies.

2-Job name- Civilian motor transport driver (ordinary grade).

Age- 18 to 27 years old.

Qualification- 10th standard pass and must possess a valid driver’s license for heavy and light motor vehicles.

Live-

I. Must have at least two years of driving experience.

ii. Knowledge of engine mechanisms (must be able to eliminate minor vehicle faults).

3- Message name- Motor transport fitter/mechanic.

Age- 18 to 25 years old.

Qualification-

I. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

ii. Two years of experience in automotive workshops.

Desirable – ITI degree in a relevant profession.

4- Message name- Multi-tasking staff (Motorized transport cleaner).

Age- 18 to 27 years old.

Qualification- Baccalaureate or equivalent pass.

Live- Two years of experience in a mechanical workshop.

5- Message name- Multi-tasking staff (Peon).

Age- 18 to 27 years old.

How to apply Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2022:

Eligible candidates for the positions can apply in the prescribed format indicated in the official notification and submit their form with a duly affixed self-attested color photograph. Required documents-

I. Valid photo ID proof.
ii. Record sheet and registration certificate or equivalent.
iii. Grade sheet and 12th/UG/PG/Diploma certificate as per essential eligibility.
iv. Last category certificate (SC/ST/OBC) for reserved category candidates.
v. Certificate of experience.
vi. Employer NOC to currently serve in any government. organization.
v. Last two passport size color photographs.
vi. Applicants should enclose a separate blank envelope with Rs. 50 postage stamps (stuck on the envelope) addressed to themselves with the application.

Selection procedure for Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2022:

I. Application Review – All applications received from applicants will be reviewed against eligibility criteria and necessary documents and admission cards will be issued to shortlisted applicants for document verification and written examination attendance.

ii. Document Verification – All shortlisted candidates will be subject to document verification prior to appearing for the written exam. Applicants will be required to bring their original documents and self-attested Xerox copies (02 sets) thereof as per the guidelines/instructions given in their admission cards.

iii. Written Examination – All shortlisted candidates will undergo a written examination based on the qualifications required for the position. The written exam will be on paper with pen and will last one hour. The questionnaire (bilingual) for the written exam will consist of 80 objective type questions with one point for each correct answer and there will be no negative marking.

iv. Program – The program will be in line with their level of educational qualification and the relevant trade covering the following subjects:
(i) General Knowledge
(ii) Mathematics
(iii) General English

v. Relevant Trade Questions for Warehousing and Technical Trades Executives – Mental Aptitude Test for Multitasking Staff Executive.

vi. Maximum Written Examination/Business Test Scores, if applicable – Written exam qualifying score is 50% and candidates who qualify for the written test must be shortlisted for the business test (if applicable). For SC and ST candidates, the qualifying marks will be 45%. No relaxation of qualifying scores is permissible for OBC and EWS applicants.

vii. The merit list will be prepared strictly on the basis of merit as per the marks obtained in the written exam and will be published on the Indian coast
Guard website with necessary instructions.
