PARKERSBURG – The following cases were heard in the Wood County Trial Court on June 28:

* Janie Elizabeth, 40, Wheeling, was waived from a preliminary hearing on a charge of making, delivering, possessing with intent to make a Schedule I or II narcotic.

* Sara R. Givens, 32, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to not having a certificate of insurance and was fined $370.25. A charge of lack of operator license and false registration was dismissed.

* Billy Ray Gibson, 40, pleaded guilty to obstructing an officer, was fined $180.25 and given a suspended 30-day jail sentence and one year of unsupervised probation. A charge of trespassing on a structure or conveyance was dismissed.

* Joshua Michael Wolfe, 29, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to obstructing an officer, was fined $180.25 and given a suspended 30-day jail sentence and one year of unsupervised probation.

* Roger Bailey Jr., 47, of Williamstown, pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor for breach of a protective order, was fined $680 and sentenced to one day at Wood County Holding Center.

* Jennifer Nichole Wolfe, 30, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to domestic assault, was fined $180.25 and given a suspended 30-day jail sentence and one year of unsupervised probation.

* Christopher Eugene Malone, 23, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to household battery, driving with a suspended license and driving a vehicle without an inspection certificate, fined $740.50 and 30 days in jail suspended sentence and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation.

* Benjamin Allen Shaffer, 35, Parkersburg pleaded guilty to driving with a revoked license for impaired driving, fined $170.25 and sentenced to 30 days of home confinement. A charge of not having a seat belt was dismissed.

* Joshua Alan Wendelken, 35, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription and was fined $180.25.

* Devon M. Garlow, 33, Parkersburg, did not dispute the lack of proof of insurance and was fined $370.25.

* Gregory A Workman, 35, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $175.25. A charge of lack of proof of insurance was dismissed.

* Isaiah Jordan Rice, 18, Sandy Hook, Ky., pleaded guilty to speed restrictions and a $175.25 fine.

* Duane Arnold Pickering, 56, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to running a red light and driving with a suspended license and was fined $445.50.

* Tonia Westenfeld, 43, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to attempting to commit an offense but not committing or being prevented from committing and entering a structure or conveyance, sentenced to a fine of $440.50 and a six-month suspended prison sentence and one year of unsupervised probation. She had a load of entry from a building other than a dwelling, entry of railroad, traction or automobile, steamer or licensed vessel.

* Kevin Todd Oxley, 52, Parkersburg, has been waived from a preliminary hearing on a robbery charge. The case was transferred to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Megan Lynn Skeen, 31, Parkersburg, has had a preliminary hearing waived on an embezzlement charge. The case was returned to the Circuit Court.

* Kassandra Jo Ingram, 30, Vienna, was charged with public intoxication, assault, disorderly conduct, obstruction and failure to return fingerprints and released on $1,300 bond.

* Kody James Fiest, 28, Parkersburg, was charged with a second driving offense with a suspended license and no proof of insurance. He was released on $1,000 bond.

* David Leslie Hall Sr., 75, Belleville, was arraigned for breaching a protective order and released on $1,000 bond.

* Seth Daniel Elam, 41, Vienna, was arraigned on two counts of possession of a controlled substance and released on $2,000 bond.

* Kayla Marie Gibson, 22, Washington, was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance and released on $2,000 bond.

* Alphonso Lesean Johnson, 32, Marietta, has been indicted for disorderly misconduct, public intoxication and assault. Johnson was being held on $3,000 bond.

* Zackery Reese Edwards, 30, Parkersburg, was arrested for a third driving offense with a suspended license, possession of a controlled substance and a fugitive from justice. He was being held on $2,000 bond.

* Cameron Wesley Haslam, 28, Parkersburg, was indicted for possession of fentanyl and possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, fentanyl and marijuana. Haslam was being held on $200,000 bond.

* Julie Marie Tomblin, 26, Parkersburg pleaded guilty to entering a building other than a dwelling, entering a railroad, traction or automobile, boat steamer or ship, to a fine of $190.25 and to two months’ suspended sentence and one year’s imprisonment. unsupervised probation.

* Zachary R. Edwards, 30, of Parkersburg, was charged with a third offense while driving with a suspended license, possession of a controlled substance and being a fugitive from justice out of Washington County for failure to appear. He was held on $2,000 bail, with further bail action set to take place in Circuit Court.
