Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are pulling out all the stops for their upcoming wedding celebration.
Multiple sources exclusively tell Page Six that the newlyweds — who legally tied the knot in Las Vegas on July 16 — hired luxury event planner Colin Cowie to create the lavish wedding party of their dreams.
An insider has confirmed that the party will take place on Affleck’s 87-acre property in Riceboro, Georgia, likely within the next few weeks.
Cowie has created some of the most extravagant parties for some of Hollywood’s biggest names, including Oprah Winfrey, Kim Kardashian, Jerry Seinfeld, Michael Jordan, Nicole Kidman and even Lopez in the past.
He and his team promise to give their clients everything from a ‘royal wedding of epic proportions’ [to] the most glamorous, sophisticated and tasteful backyard wedding.
But his services are not for those with shallow pockets. According to the Cowie websitehis company — which has offices in New York and Los Angeles — produces national and international events “with budgets ranging from $25,000 to $25 million.”
A source previously told us that Lopez and Affleck’s wedding celebration would last several days and that there could be a party on nearby St. Simons Island, known for its beautiful beaches, wellness retreats and its picturesque lighthouse.
We were told the two- or three-day ordeal would be for “everyone they love but couldn’t invite” to their shock nuptials in Sin City.
The source also said the couple’s guest list includes celebrity friends Casey Affleck, Matt Damon, Jimmy Kimmel and Lopez’s “Shades of Blue” co-star Drea de Matteo.
The multi-faceted entertainer, who just celebrated his 53rd birthday on his Paris honeymoon, and the 49-year-old Oscar-winning actor rekindled their romance last year nearly two decades after calling off their first engagement.
In an “impulsive” decision, the couple “flew to Vegas” and said “yes” to A Little White Chapel in front of two of their five children combined: Lopez’s Emme, 14, and Affleck’s Seraphina, 13.
The ‘Jenny From the Block’ singer is also mom to Emme’s twin, Maximillian, whom she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony, while ‘Argo’ star co-parents Sera, Violet, 16, and Samuel , 10, with ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
Representatives for Lopez, Affleck and Cowie did not immediately respond to requests for comment from Page Six.
