Jamestown Newport Ferry was launched for the season

Jamestown Newport Ferry has kicked off its Hop-On Hop-Off season, just in time to ferry people from Jamestown to Newport’s Oyster & Chowder Festival, held at Bowen’s Wharf in Newport, this weekend.

Throughout the summer, Jamestown Newport Ferry will provide express service to special Newport events such as Folk and Jazz Festivals, the International Boat Show and the Bowen’s Wharf Seafood Festival.

During some of these events, the Jamestown Newport Ferry will have a modified Hop-On Hop-Off schedule as shown on the planning page of the website.

The daily Jamestown Newport Ferry reservationless hop-on hop-off service between Jamestown and Newport will continue until October 10, 2022. Stops include Jamestown, Rose Island Lighthouse, Newport’s Fort Adams, Ann Street Pier and Perrotti Park. Ticket options include return or one-way fares. Jamestown Newport Ferry offers a special discounted evening, daily after 4 p.m. (except during festivals).

Ryan Belmore is the owner and publisher of What’sUpNewp. Although not the original founder or owner, Belmore has been with What’sUpNewp since its debut in 2012.
