Gary L. Brumlow, 67, returned home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 30, 2022, peacefully at home.

Gary was predeceased by his mother, Barbara Sinard Brumlow, and stepfather, Gene Martin. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Larry Brumlow, Stevie Martin, Ricky Martin and his sisters, Debbie Davis and Kathy McDaniel, and a niece, Leila Jones.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Gina Lykins Brumlow, one sister, Vickie Lee, several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was a lifelong resident of East Ridge and a member of the American Legion Post 95. He was a Baptist Christian. His larger than life personality was contagious and he was lovingly welcomed by all who knew him. His heart matched his great stature, as evidenced by his giving to all who needed it. He gave his time and money for all needs, especially his church and his physical families. He was an avid bingo and domino player and was known to many as the “Candy Man”.

He was a paper hauler for the Chattanooga Times Free Press for over 20 years and a local truck driver for Synthetic Industries, Brock Candy and Kenco.

Visitation and services will be held at Lighthouse Church, 1201 Lafayette Road, Rossville Ga.

The visits will take place on Friday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The service will be held on Saturday, February 5 at 4 p.m.

Honorary bearers will be Joey, JT and Jake Roach, Anthony Smith, Michael and Zeke Jones.
