We are fortunate to have a number of non-profit organizations in our community who give so much of their time and talent. Consider becoming a member of one of these groups at the Geneva Public Library Volunteer Fair from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 30. Come meet with representatives of organizations, ask questions and learn more about volunteer opportunities in our area.

The librarian recommends: Lisa Kleypas’ “Cold-Hearted Rake” introduces readers to the Ravenels, a family known for their quick tempers and outrageous behavior. Wicked and charming rake Devon Ravenel inherits his late cousin’s estate and responsibilities – which he doesn’t want – and clashes with widow Kathleen over his future. Who will prevail, or will love triumph? “Bridgerton” fans looking for a new family to fall in love with will appreciate this book, said librarian Sophie.
