Colonial in action! – Colonial Savings, the annual FA Volunteer Challenge will begin on July 1


FORT WORTH, TX, July 1, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Colonial Savings, the annual FA Volunteer Challenge is set to kick off the July, 1st. The theme for this year’s company-wide challenge is Colonial in action!, and is a friendly competition encouraging employees and business leaders to give back to the community through volunteer work, financial literacy, homebuyer education and other means of support.

In their inaugural challenge, Colonial employees donated more than 1,500 volunteer hours to dozens of community groups and organizations. The department with the most average volunteer hours at Colonial will be rewarded $1,000 to donate to a charity or organization of their choice, and will also receive the “Jimmy Award for Excellence”, named after Colonial’s beloved founder and visionary, Jimmy DuBose.
